Job Description

Tidal is looking for its next passionate, experienced, self-motivated, Web Services - Production (Live) Analyst to join our team as we continue to partner with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 4.3 million New Yorkers. Our team provides NYS with innovative and agile health benefit exchange (HBE) solutions that deliver the functionality required to comply by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and provide the flexibility needed to easily scale up to support future requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
    •Support a variety of operational functions in a 24/7/365 high availability client environment including scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and triage.

    •Review Production log files, validate batch processes, and triage operational incidents

    •Work closely with other talented teams for task definition, clear delivery deadlines, and problem resolution

    •Automate operational, monitoring & alerting functions. Create & maintain system documentation. Monitor team members.

    •Validate and analyze report data.  Execute SQL queries.

    •Support continuous improvement. Develop and suggest alternative approaches to problem resolution. Assist in resolving production support issues.

Job Requirements:
    •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field. Equivalent technical experience may be substituted for the degree.

    •Five (5) year of Java programming experience

    •Two (2) years of Relational Database experience

    •One (1) year of SQL scripting experience

    •Familiarity with Middleware Infrastructure including the following server types: WebSphere Application, Portal & Process; MQ Products, and other related technologies; Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

    •Commitment to providing off-hours support when needed

Here are the Bonus Points:
    •Two (2) years of hands-on technical operations experience in a high volume, mission critical, 24/7 client-server environment preferred

    •Technical Lead experience

    •Excellent Problem Resolution skills

    •Great team and client interaction skills

    •Strong written and verbal communication skills
